After doing a Master's in a prestigious medical college in Mumbai, Dr. Kalpesh Shah has worked as a teaching faculty in leading medical colleges in Mumbai, India for two years. After that, he has been concentrating on joint replacements exclusively. He has been working with Shalby Hospitals since 2007.

He is considered an expert in primary and revision knee replacement surgery as well as unicondylar knee replacements. To date, he has performed more than 15000 replacements and continues to perform around 1000 surgeries per year. He has published 10 publications, internationally as well.

To upgrade his skills, he has visited various in USA and Germany, so that state-of-the-art technologies can be incorporated in his own patients.
